England 1935, Briony Tallis (Saoirse Ronan) is a girl who loves to write plays, reading and wandering in his fervid imagination. He has one sister more, Cecilia (Keira Knigthley) and a jaunty little 'rebel. Briony observes from a distance, hit by the boredom of a comfortable life, the report of an unusual friendship between Cecilia and Robbie Turner (James McAvoy), the housekeeper's son, equivocating and changing that relationship into something outrageous. Based on the novel by Ian McEwan, Joe Wright's film is divided into three parts and tells exactly repentance and feeling of powerlessness in a nurse during the war bambina-annoiata/ragazza- / adult woman and writer, the whole arc of his life until became famous and respected elderly suffering from senile dementia, will try to return the worthy end of a story to those who, years earlier, had wrongfully removed without a credible reason.
