A guy who's not going anywhere, is defined as the young John Lennon (Aaron Johnson) just seventeen, the headmaster of her school. A guy who has nothing to lose, a little 'bully, but intelligent and with tuft Elvis, who grew up in Aunt Mimi and Uncle George in Liverpool of the 50s. his troubled adolescence, as will also all his life, from his relationship with his family, especially with his mother, weak woman, but full of love for her child that leaves him just five years under the care of her aunt apprehensive. John goes to school, makes her first experience and knows music and he puts together a band The Quarryman (which later became The Beatles ) through which an equally young and know imbranatello Paul McCartney (Thomas Sangster) and an enthusiastic but not very visible George Harrison (Sam Bell). Finds the boundless love of a mother, learning to truly know and appreciate it as you can appreciate and know a mother, discovering secrets never told, typical misunderstanding and suffering, it seems, Lennon family. Nowhere Boy is the first feature film directed by Sam Taylor-Wood of 2009 based on the book Imagine: Growing Up with My Brother John written by Lennon Julia Baird, sister of John. The director tries and succeeds at least in part to tell, in fact, a spark of life discussed Lennon (a little too handsome) with underlying bitterness that can never really fade away, making the streets of Liverpool again darker.
